Guns, Ionizing Air

AMSTAT provides several Ionizing Air Guns for efficiently removing particles and preventing their reattraction. A 1/4" NPT female connection is standard.

Cobra Ionizing Air Gun cleans and neutralizes large surfaces in industrial environments. Gun and 20’ cable weigh 1.5 pounds. 40’ cable available. Maximum air pressure 100 psi. Removable tip provides a fan-shaped air blast for covering large areas like autobody surfaces, plastic sheets, and furniture pieces. One or two guns may be powered with one G165 Power Pak.

Top Gun Ionizing Air Gun is a high-performance ionizing air gun designed for a wide variety of uses. Balanced to

15 V, it features needle valve adjustable blow-off force. Typical operating distance is 2” to 12”. Power unit solenoid activates air flow. Air inlet is 1/8 NPT.

The following equipment incorporates a radioactive isotope instead of electrical energy to provide a safe source of balanced ionization. The guns are totally portable, needing only to be attached to a dry compressed air or gas line. Because no electricity is required, they can be safely used in paint spray rooms or other volatile environments. Ionization is constantly balanced to

0 volts without monitoring, calibration, or adjustment. A 1/4" NPT female connection is standard.

P2021-1112 NUCLECEL Filtered Ion Air Gun provides a sub-micron cleaned stream of ionized air. The filter housing, ionizing cartridge, and OSHA tip are 316 stainless steel. The filter housing is 2-piece construction for fast replacement of 0.4 or 0.8 micron hydrophobic PVC membrane filter with minimal interruption. Gun weighs 10 ounces.

PK1 Ion Air Gun is designed for use with filtered electronics-grade nitrogen in Cleanroom Classes < 100. The ergonomic pistol grip is virgin Teflon, and incorporates a positive trigger shut-off. 316 stainless steel cleanroom packaged ionizing cartridge and OSHA tip can be electropolished if desired. All parts are serviceable. Complete gun assembly includes a 5-pack of 0.5 micron filters. Complete assembly weighs 11 ounces.

The P2035-0810 Nuclejet II Ion Air Gun is the most efficient air gun for manually removing static on large surfaces before molding and finishing operations, and can also be mounted in permanent position. Ideal for automotive, fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) products, furniture, boat & yacht manufacturing. The air amplifying design pulls air through a screen filter on the backside for increased air delivery. The P2035-0010 ionizing cell is easily replaced annually to ensure a high level of static elimination. Maximum air pressure 100 psi. Optimum ionization is at 20 – 60 psi. Complete gun weighs 1.85 pounds.
